This year's event takes place on June 24th at Leytons Field, Tintern, NP16 6TE. Of course there will be sunshine. It has already been ordered for the day.
With a great line up of entertainments being added to as the day approaches, you can keep up to date by visiting the site regularly and looking in the attractions pages for details of live music, kids' entertainments, arts and crafts stalls and much more. The theme is myths and legends this year, which abound in the area, so there is plenty of scope to get in the spirit of things.
We now have a schedule of events that will be happening throughout the day
On the Main Stage in the Field
12:00-12:45 Monmouth Rock Choir
13:15-14:00 & 14:15-15:00 Dukes of Cymru
15:00-16:00 Resident DJ
16:00-16:45 & 17:00-17:45 two 45 minute set from Lee McRory
19:00 Creatures of Habit
Followed by Inside stage at the Village Hall
21:00 Resident DJ
Around the field on the day we will also have loads of activities and stalls plus confirmed so far
13:30 Arnie the Magician in the Marquee
14:00, 15:00 and 16:15 Stilt Walking
15:15 Fancy dress competition judging - Myths and Legends is the theme, so lets see those Dragon outfits or King Arthur's (with sword safely embedded in the stone) and not forgetting where we are the spirit of Sabrina...
Also continuing the theme of the day we have story telling at 14:30 & 15:30
and at 16:00 the Tintern Bake Off will be Judged (Again I would also like to see (taste) the Dragons and Swords in the stones and Fairies and Offa and Tewdrics and Sabrinas and .......)
Pssst! Got any decent pictures we can use?
You can also get involved by letting us use your photographs from previous years. The image sequence on this page was provided courtesy of Big Rig Hire UK, whose huge red truck added so much impact and interest to the American theme last year. Many thanks for the use of the pictures.
